The book "Megacities", is a visually stunning tribute to the largest cities of our civilisation. In this high-quality illustrated book, Christoph Mohr, Oliver Fülling and Bastian Barenbock show everyday life in ten megacities in Asia, Africa, America and Europe. They captured city life in Bangkok, Cairo, Istanbul, London, Mexico City, Mumbai, New York City, Rio de Janeiro, Seoul and Shanghai, focusing on the topics of overpopulation, sustainability, environmental protection and globalisation and how the global megacities deal with these problems.
The book is not only a collection of photos and accompanying stories, it also offers a total of 16 exclusive interview videos with residents of the featured world metropolises via the teNeues app. The videos can only be viewed with the book and the free teNeues app.
A small foretaste of what the book is all about can be seen in the trailer, which was specially cut together for the book:
"Megacities" was published in September 2023 and offers 289 exciting insights into urban life in the 21st century and the associated challenges on 224 large-format pages.
