So far, nine of our coffee table books have the additional digital content. Over time, more and more coffee table books will offer the additional special of the teNeues app. Today we present three of these books.
Enjoy exclusive additional material for our coffee table books "Lita Cabellut", "Megacities" and "No Limits".
Lita Cabellut
The illustrated book "Lita Cabellut" is the first comprehensive publication on the work of this renowned and highly esteemed artist. Cabellut is the only living artist whose works have been exhibited at the renowned REAL ACADEMIA DE BELLAS ARTES DE SAN FERNANDO (RABASF) in Madrid. Her works are presented alongside those of Francisco de Goya and Pablo Picasso.
Cabellut not only paints, she is a multidisciplinary artist who feels at home in many fields. She also stages operas and creates sculptures. Her fans particularly love the fresco technique she uses, which gives her paintings a unique authenticity and vulnerability. Now Lita's fans can finally bring her pictures into their homes in the high-quality coffee table book "Lita Cabellut". The impressive monograph was created by Tayfun Belgin, a renowned German art historian and author. The beautifully crafted illustrated book shows the most important works of the Spanish artist.
Megacities
Love of big cities united in one volume: "Megacities" is a visually stunning tribute to the largest cities of our civilization. In this high-quality coffee table book, the three authors Christoph Mohr, Oliver Fülling and Bastian Barenbock show everyday life in ten megacities in Asia, Africa, America and Europe. Readers can expect exciting photographs of city life in Rio de Janeiro, Mexico City, New York City, London, Istanbul, Cairo, Seoul, Shanghai, Mumbai and Bangkok.
Over 150 photographs and a series of interviews provide a comprehensive insight into everyday life on location. They explore life and living in such a metropolis, the leisure activities of the inhabitants, the reasons for the emergence of informal settlements and the public spaces that people frequent. How does each individual city deal with the issues of overpopulation, sustainability, environmental protection and globalization? What is special is the contrast in the presentation: wealth and poverty, culture and crime, tradition, festivals, customs, religion and innovation coexist.
No Limits
7 continents. 100,000 kilometers. 100 challenges. Joey Kelly is one of the most outstanding amateur extreme athletes of our time. He has completed eight Ironman races in just twelve months, 31 ultra-marathons, more than ten desert ultra-runs, four Race Across America races and the 8 x 24-hour mountain bike race. He has competed in the Tanzania Desert Challenge, the Gobi March, the Himalayan Ultra, the Badwater Run in Death Valles and the Race to the South Pole, the Idita Race in Alaska, the Atacama Crossing and the Marathon de Sables.
All these experiences and memories have led him to compile the book "No Limits". On over 350 pages, you can follow his extraordinary sporting achievements up close. The exciting photographs are accompanied by stories and background information. The additional digital content that buyers of the book can experience via the teNeues app enhances the experience even further.
