Anecdotes about the photo productions and meetings
Sir Paul Smith smiling in front of a bookshelf. Javier Bardem, completely relaxed, in trainers on a sunny field. Chef Rasmus Kofoed of Geranium in Copenhagen, one of the best restaurants in the world, on an ivy-covered wall. What unites all these portraits - apart from closeness and privacy - is a glass in the picture. For this is how Gérard-Philippe Mabillard photographs his friends and acquaintances, all celebrities from the world of cinema, art, fashion, design and culture.
Mabillard himself worked in the creative field before taking over the management of the Valais Wine Association. For him, the glass, whether with wine or water, stands as a link between the people he portrays: a sign of friendship and coming together.
With his photo project, Mabillard supports the Fondation Moi pour Toit in Colombia.
