The bestseller in an updated new edition.

With famous classics and the new trend bags that reflect the spirit of the times, as well as an additional chapter on bag shapes.

For bag fans, everyone who wants to learn more about women's most important accessory, and men looking for the perfect gift.

Women love bags because they are the perfect means of transport, not only for keys, credit cards and lipstick. But for all their desires and wishes. Thus, handbags have become a billion-dollar business for the luxury industry in the 20th century. But the handbag is more than just a status symbol. It is constantly being reinvented and has thus influenced fashion on the street for years more than any dress silhouette. For the Love of Bags is a tribute to the power of the handbag: from icons like the Kelly Bag, the first ever object of desire, to hip atelier labels from Paris and the new Instagram stars, the book not only tells the story of the It Bag, but above all deciphers the codes with which it communicates.
