Vandenbussche

Photographer

Born in Chile and raised in Belgium, Hannelore is a photographer and a creative entrepreneur, but most of all, she’s a storyteller.

In 2009, after graduating with a degree in photography, she embarked on her first assignment: Jimmy Nelson’s Before They Pass Away project. For almost three years, she travelled to the most remote places on Earth and assisted Nelson as he captured the planet’s last remaining indigenous tribes.

Hannelore documented this epic journey in her bestselling book, Before They Pass Away: the stories behind the photos.

Her biggest undertaking yet: Human Playground, a photo book, art prints and a Netflix Original documentary series about sport, culture and tradition.
